I phoned FedEx last night to remind them to bring the package today. Unfortunately, at this point, it doesn’t look like it will come today. See the attached image.

As you can clearly see, the shipping information has not been updated since April 3, 2007. In addition, they’ve gotten rid of the “Estimated Delivery” field at the top (it used to read “April 4, 2007 by 5PM”, but they realized that they couldn’t travel back in time). I phoned customer service this morning to ask if it will actually be delivered today, and they said that it should be here by 5PM. All I can do now is wait.

Oh, yeah. In case you need to talk to a real person at 1.800.GO.FEDEX, it’s a little bit of an easter egg. They don’t actually present it as an option. Happily, if you press the “0” key when you’re on the main menu, and then the star key, you’ll be forwarded to a Customer Service representative.

I’m getting a little impatient now.
